Pisa & Lucca are two incredible walled cities very close to each other. Pisa is famous for the Leaning Tower, one of Italy’s landmarks. The second, Lucca, is famous in the world for its majestic walls…. this tour will be a great mixture of art and history.
After picking you up we will head straight to Pisa< on the main highway running next to the Apuane Alps: these famous mountains are known for the marble quarries, located in the outskirts of the city of Carrara.
Once you reach Pisa, you will have plenty of time to visit the Cathedral, the Monumental Cemetery, the Baptistry and , if you like, to climb the Leaning Tower! All of these incredible buildings are located in the “Field of Miracles”, so called for its important religious meaning.
Just 30 minutes drive North across the mountains and we will be within the walls of Lucca where Monuments, Cathedrals and Churches will make your tour complete & perhaps even relaxing.
Around lunch time you will be leaving the city of Lucca heading towards a family owned Winery and Farm where you will have the opportunity to taste excellent wines produced in the area, extravirgin Olive Oil and delicious food!
Afterwards you will be returned back to La Spezia.

Please Note
The driver will give you all the details about pick up times and meeting points and will always have a mobile with him, in case you decide to leave a destination earlier than scheduled, it can be arranged on the day. You will be provided with general information concerning Italy, plus a map if necessary/requested;
Please note that the driver is not able to leave the vehicle and accompany you to specific sites in the centre due to strict parking regulations in the city centres.
Instructions for cruise passengers
During disembarking your cruise ship there will be a free shuttle bus provided by your cruise ship which will take you to the Pax Terminal where all of the private tours are waiting; PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU GET ON THE SHUTTLE FOR THE PAX TERMINAL, AND NOT FOR LA SPEZIA CENTRE.
This is just a short ride of 1-2 minutes, once reaching the Pax Terminal the driver will be waiting with a sign.
The meeting point is next to the Pax Terminal, at the parking area dedicated to the private Minivans (parking area for private exclusive tours).
